an interesting version of the power supply pcb that is online

It is perfect for this use an hammond 154E choke 20H 20 mA

In my creation I want to also insert the "optional passive preamp" output stage. On the solder side of the PCB there is in fact a silkscreen for two resistors to 68K and the pitches for the mounting of a potentiometer (50k log)
the gain of 'EAR834 should be enough to directly drive the power amplifiers

In the power supply I use a 20H 20mA coil il the position of the 1k2ohm 3w resistor

I see that the boards comes as a big board and you have to take them apart i understand.
When taken apart,is it difficult to find out where the different voltage are supposed to go from the power supply board and from the transformer.
Is there an wires going from the transformer directly to the main mother board with the tubes or does it all pass through the power board?

will i get instructions with the boards how to connect and so on?

Hope this makes sense since i´m from sweden you have to understand i´m not 100% english speaking.

Help me with these questions before i porder please.

All the connections for the power supply are marked on the boards, that is for the 1st PCB shown in this thread (don't know about the other versions that are available).

There are no instructions, but help is always here if needed.
The mains transformer power connects to the power supply PCB, one for high voltage & one for the tube heater supply.
Then the filtered/rectified power (DC) goes to the circuit board.

Hello everyone,
This kit will be my winter project.  grin
I ordered the kit from Germany and the caps are on their way (Panasonic/Vishay BC electrolytics, Mundorf M-cap Evo Oil for the MKPs).
I noticed that others have used a toroidal transformer rather than the (cheap) transformer proposed by the seller of the kit. Any you would recommend in particular?

What about this one:
https://www.don-audio.com/Toroidal-Transformer-Mila-sec-250vct-63vct-48V

Thanks for the help, I will post photos when I start the build.

Thank you Jacek.  I noted that they also sell a toroidal version with similar characteristics (235V @0,075A, 6.3V @ 3A):
http://sklep.lampyelektronowe.pl/?141,tsta-40-001-transformator-sieciowy-audio

Also another one with a 250V output:
http://sklep.lampyelektronowe.pl/?180,tsta-60-002-transformator-sieciowy-audio

Will look into getting it shipped to the UK.

I have also found this one from Ebay.de which has a 250V output:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Ringkern-Rohren-Trafo-58-VA-250V-0-13A-6-3V-4A-Transformer-Tube-EL84-6V6/291215100800?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140117130753%26meid%3D5f051e92f1fe4c78b2747d5a147e5d3d%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D3%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D301308565631

I believe the acceptable range is 230-280V, correct?
