Hi Mark,
I don't think 16 ohm will pose a problem.
I used mine in Beauvechain to drive the LS3/5a and even that worked fine.
Ebay has plenty kits, not sure if any are European though.

Thank you, Peter.
Are you still using this amp? Is it your main amp? I saw this completed amp with PS for $85 in an enclosure.

Looks like a no brainer but is it? Pot looks a bit dubious. Guess you can just open it wide. Oops: just noticed the $47 shipping charge!

Yes, (A white version of) this is the amp I use every day.
In these things everything counts, so predicting the sound of the ebay one is difficult. For that price it is certainly worth a try though.

Beautiful system! I imagine you have tried many an amp with your Klipsch Scalas. What is your phono stage?

I have, and the LM1875 does very well, better than most valve amps I have tried.
But, some time ago I had a friend come over with his Sun 2a3SE. That was something special indeed.

I have spent wonderful years with single 2A3s, but my favorites have been the small triodes like the 45 and the VT25. Maybe even the 71A in push pull!
