yes 80mm, I wished they had 100mm boxes, so I could mount the transformers vertically. But it´s good enough this way.
Cheers
How did you arrange the heatsink? I guess you are not using the farnell heatsink suggested by Nigel which is 200x100 mm. How did you cut the back to arrange the IEC inlet/outlet? Could you upload a better resolution image? TX!

Hi Massimiliano, I found a nice heatsink here: http://www.reichelt.de part number is: V6506G , sorry, the complete link did not work used a small but handy CAD tool to arrange cutouts and heatsink on the back plate, that program can be downloaded for free here: http://www.schaeffer-ag.de/de/so-funktionierts/uebersicht.html?gclid=CK3e76nxvrsCFSYHwwodvjcAIQIt´s obtainable for Windows,Linux, even MAC. You can make printouts in 1:1 scale and copy it to the metal sheets you want to prepare/drill/rout or what ever. Very easy to use! Just looking for a highres picture… wait a second, please

Hello, have finished my controller. All test from the manual (thanks to Nigel for doing this so well) are passed with success. Not yet tested with the Lenco, this will happen tonight. I have a (3 times) recycled enclosure, that's why there are lots of unused holes to see. The front has a sheet of 3mm plywood, same as my lenco. The top is only layed on for minor settings and will be fixed after. I also bought the recommended heatsink but had no idea how to manage with this, so I took these two, one for each amp. I think I have to cover the screws at the meter. Regards, thanks for looking, Christoph

Wow Christoph, such a fine, straight forward design. Good idea with the two heatsinks! You will never have problems with overheating Admire your record player too !! Regards Michael

This is the pcb and chip amp cutout on the rear panel cut for 10mm standoff. It is HiFi200 GX388 a drill press and a dremel worked for me

TX baldwin. Which specific tool (wheel) should I ask for along with a Dremel to cut out metal? As I've ordered the same box do you have a design of the rear panel I could use as a template? Can you upload some pictures of the final work? Thanks again!

Hi Massimiliano, really basic tools: drill, electric jigsaw, file, patience, chocolate, glass chianti (or two), and time... Sorry Massimiliano, I´m not kidding... It´s just my pre-christmass mood No, really. As I haven´t got a CNC, I always need to employ those simple tools. ...and not always chianti, sometimes it´s bordeaux, veltliner, or a fine glass of guinness So Merry Christmass and a happy newe year to You and everyone at LH Michael
