What a great arm. It's a machine ! and a beautiful one A bit scary indeed. I like to drink some wine or a nice Belgium beer whilst listening to records, not sure if that's a good idea with this setup....
I am on board with Jos, its a little too close for a guy like me with two left hands.....plus a good adult beverage always enhances the tonal qualities but puts a good record at risk Ed

David..... is it a wrong idee to mount the headshell and cartridge upside down ? So you get more space between arm and record.

Now that's a novel and interesting idea

T3Pro meets Raven 1. Just a temporary partnership until I get all my Lenco parts together and probably sell the Raven later.Had a few speed bumps for an air bearing LT newbie ( hum with some nos MM in my system and a few setup errors) but with prompt help from Vic and David, it's all good now. T3 Pro really packs a serious punch for the money and it's running pretty close to a Phantom II I feel ( later has better bass still ) with some potential improvement to come yet. Vic has been a pleasure to deal with and should be proud of this arm.

Looks drop dead gorgeous - maybe extra bass on Phantom is colouration May be it is but i'm too busy to compare the different arms properly as i'm too busy enjoying this. Got the new headshell/collar wand but with silver leads a few days ago. Now i know what David was on about a few weeks back... Never heard such details, dynamic, deep and tall soundstage in my smallish room before... Simply fantastic. Previously the unloved TW R1 was soundly trounced by the slate SP10mk2 and Micro Seiki but with this T3 Pro on board, it's jumped ahead i think. Must thank David for his review and Vic for his excellent product and service.

That looks great Jasper. I finally get to see one of the new ones without the Terminator logo. Too bad Vic can't keep it, but it makes sense once you see the new version. I have been considering one myself for the next TT project after I finish the two I'm working on
Do you find the arm to be in the way when you change records? It's a concern I have but really doesn't matter when it comes right down to it.

that's a serious looking set-up jaspert . vic really needs to get that logo back on somewhere, which really made the arm look even more special.

I had that concern too about the hassle with record handling but I started out installing the arm quite forward so after a few days the care needed becomes second nature. Agree about the loss of the nice logo.
