If you want my image of the protractor in high resolution, click on the image below.

Then click on the image that downloads.

Right-click on the enlarged image and choose 'save' or 'paste'.

Set the printed image size to 10 inches (254 mm) and the scale should be correct.

OR SIMPLY MEASURE the 9 (or 9.3) mm indicated in the diagram.  
You can do that at the workbench; and it has to be within the margin of error in making and using the protractor.

One simple question on the template, if anyone knows, concerning the distance from B to C: Point B is meant to be a point on the arc, and not to the head of the arrow, correct?  I am 1 mm off, if it is meant to be a point on the arc, though my file is exactly 254 mm wide.  Perhaps I am pushing against the limitations of my printer.  Thanks, David

I have the 9mm on the red axis, but my B to C reads 230mm. It makes no sence to me at all  huh

It seems that C does not refer to the axis of the arm pillar, which is probably what you measured?
