Found this Uher Paco mini set. Also have the tuner, not the tapedeck. It is the same inside as the Aiwa 22 Series or the BASF version.
Big round ring trafo inside. Maybe not high end put quiet powerful and the power amp is heavy!

Uher was a German brand. Most know for their Real to Real tape recorders I think.
Most Uher amplifiers were sold in Germany, Austria, Switzerland etc. I bought mine here above
in The Netherlands, but I guess it came from a German marked place before that.
Tech inside is Made in Japan/Aiwa.

Great find, has an individual character, haven't seen much like that in the UK, looks to be rack mounting.

Not nearly enough orange panelled rack-mount hi-fi in the world  smiley

Yes there were rack options in those years. But very very hard to find. These are internet pics.
One version has a black coated metal rack. The other even harder to find is the flight-case version.
The colours seems a bit off here but originally it must had the same orange colours as the Uher Paco units itself.
I have the Uher pre-amp, power-amp + tuner myself.

last week this came with the mail, a Lenco F50-16 it was in a very nice condition when i bought it but unfortunatly the former owner has probably removed the headshell with a screwdriver and made a big scratch on it  sad but offcourse they don't know anything off it angel

I wanted to keep it original but i can't live with the scratch Roll Eyes now i will probably modify it with a L75 bearring,L75 platter and weld the holes in the chassis, paint it and make a new plinth for it with a new arm  wink

We have something called Freegle or Freecycle here in UK, where folk can give stuff away for re-use, upcycling etc.

I have a standard request out for turntables of all types as I do repairs and often need rare spare parts, but I asked especially for heavy platter Lencos.

So, today, I picked up a lovely condition GL75. The guy thought there were two of them, but the second box contains a Technics TT plus a Technics cassette deck and graphic equaliser.

I've made a donation to the Air Ambulance charity as per his suggestion, and he has agreed to contact me if he finds the second Lenco.

Aren't some folk just brillaint

Good Stuff, here we have... Habitat for humanity....donate tools, furniture etc.
No pictures yet but Technics SP15 in the trunk, supposedly came out of one of LesPauls home studios, no proof but interesting side story from vendor.
