Hi guys.
I love that player but it starts a crackling sort of noise after one hour of music.
Just on one channel.
Unlistenable.
Sometimes it also has it when I switch it on.
Does anyone know that or has an idea what it could be?
Bad solder joints maybe?
Old parts?
Thanks.

Sounds like a dry solder joint which opens up once the player is warm.

Yeah, to me, too.
It does problems either when it's cold or too warm.
I opened it and guess that's clear:

Seems to be the earth, but I guess I'd have to remove the circuit board to be sure about the solder joints below since this looks like it has either had too much heat or maybe damp and kinda rusted.
Thanks
