Is the thesis of a streamer set up to eliminate bluetooth (whether with an old smartphone or otherwise)?

My iPad of 2013 still works fine to stream music to my audio set.
But I only use it for this option.
The iPad of 2022 is a second option of course.

Piero,

The blogger is an Indian youngster. Indian English usage is a little different than the British. Here the word old means previous . A latest phone is a desired personal accessory for the young here so many upgrade in a year or two.

In my own case I purchased a new phone in 2018 within a month or two of it's introduction. The manufacturer stopped upgrading the OS beyond Android 9 last year. I would have continued using that battle scared phone but my bank upgraded their app and the new version refused to work bellow Android 10 so I had to buy a new phone a few months ago. The old one is laying around unused , so I thought this was a interesting idea and wanted to get some opinions about the technology discussed.

I don't think that is forthcoming, I think it is better to remove this topic.

Anwesh

Sorry Anwesh, just feeling like having a moan about consumerist culture. It's probably a worthy project if people are going to change their phone every couple of years anyway.
